Country hills 'Buy One, Give One' Junior Golf program
We are excited to announce our new Buy One, Give One program for junior golfers this summer:
Throughout the months of June, July and August, for every paid 9-hole round played at Country Hills, we will provide a 9-hole round to a junior golfer absolutely free!
Serving the local area youth and supporting junior golf has always been a priority at Country Hills. The Greenview Golf Team (now the Greenview-Athens Golf Team) has called the course home for 30 years, and more recently, we have become the home course for Illini Central. A summer junior golf tournament is hosted annually, we are often a site for high school golf regionals and junior high sectionals, and countless local juniors have taken their first swings through our annual junior golf clinic. This new program continues that support and we hope helps grow the game of golf in our community!
Guidelines:
Junior golfers don’t have to sign up for the program to participate and no additional purchases are required. Starting June 1, we’ll simply keep a tally board in the clubhouse for all to see –- as the paid rounds accumulate, so do the opportunities for juniors to come out and play free!
Program is open to junior golfers up to 18 years of age
Free rounds can be used Monday through Friday and weekends after 11 a.m.
Junior golfers should call for a tee time to ensure rounds are available and that we have open play and no competing events
Free rounds are valid for greens fees only – while golfers 16 and over may use carts, standard rental fees will apply
Junior golfers under 10 years of age should be accompanied by an adult
Not valid during tournaments, outings or special events
