Golf Outings

Golf outings are a specialty at Country Hills. We are proud to host some of the best events in Central Illinois, offering an outstanding course, an unbelievable menu and now with our Price Match Guarantee, the guaranteed lowest prices for golf and cart fees. If you have ever played in a golf outing here, you know it is the perfect locale, and a nice escape from the crowds and costs of some other popular outing spots in the area.

Outing Discount Packages

Outing Packages are available. Packages will include a variety of meal options, golf fees based on size of group, as well as a number of other amenities. Significant discounts are available for large groups and our Price Match Guarantee applies to rates for outings as well - if another course offers your outing a lower price for golf and carts, we'll match it.

Start Times

Shotgun - All players tee off at the same time, with each group starting from different holes on the course. This option is often reserved for large groups, but Country Hills can work in shotgun starts for smaller groups on slow days or on a limited number of holes. A nine-hole shotgun is limited to 72 players and an eighteen-hole shotgun is limited to 144.

Scheduled Tee Times - Tee times run in ten-minute intervals beginning at 6:30 a.m. each morning. Primarily, groups choose to reserve blocks of consecutive tee times for an outing. To accommodate the largest number of people, however, some groups choose to allow their guests to schedule tee times at any time throughout the day. Scheduled tee time outings are open to an unlimited number of guests.

Meals

Meals can be served at anytime throughout an outing. Many choose to serve a meal for the entire group either before or after the round or both. Others have a meal available for a specific amount of time and allow their guests to eat as they choose or on their turn (in between 9-hole rounds). We offers a vast and unique menu featuring many homemade dishes, and selections are available for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner.

Contests, Games, Theme Outings

Proximity markers are available for Long Drive, Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin, etc. contests on the course, and we can assist in setting up hole contests, Hole-in-One prizes and insurance, and hole sponsor signage.

Backwards Golf, Scotch Twosome, Tombstone Tournament, Swinger's Scramble - just a few of the fun and unique games that have been enjoyed in past Country Hills outings. Play your own game or ask for some suggestions that will add a twist to your event. Country Hills can even tailor your menu, contests, and prizes to a specific theme.
